Error loading block database
« on: November 16, 2016, 08:06:53 PM »
Hello All

   I was having trouble syncing new wallet so I did something a bit stupid and deleted all files except the wallet dat file now when I open my wallet I am getting Error Loading Block Database .

Is there any way to repair this or have I lost everything?

If you have a fix for me could you please explain so that a PC noob can understand.

Many thanks for any advice
Steve

so delete the files again, save the wallet.dat in a new location. Run the wallet and then shut it down, this will create the new files. Now edit the file netcoin.conf and add these nodes.

addnode=84.105.200.241
addnode=89.154.0.37
addnode=50.107.86.75
addnode=68.224.238.173
addnode=83.240.176.25
addnode=73.214.14.51
addnode=96.18.63.243
addnode=173.50.96.220
addnode=46.254.11.158
addnode=70.181.47.97
addnode=98.202.147.55
addnode=66.255.208.239
addnode=213.16.225.231
addnode=176.14.91.74
addnode=85.245.102.195
addnode=104.172.24.79
addnode=187.169.77.111
addnode=72.241.235.204
addnode=101.184.68.129

copy and paste this line into your browser--
 108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/NetCoin_blockchain.zip

Take the folder, unzip it, and place the files in the NetCoin appdata folder... Replacing the files with these. DO NOT use the peers.dat file included in that download as the peers are old.

After it syncs back up, shut down and put your wallet.dat back in, replacing the newly created (0 Balance) wallet.

Hope that helps.

regards,

-BigJ

22 connections for me at the moment. Are you sure you are fully updated? We are on v2.5.1 if you used the blockchain from crypto chainer you'll have to remove the peers.dat.
