General Discussion / Re: Lets get netcoin on POLONIEX!
« on: January 12, 2016, 06:19:54 PM »
yeah, i think a big exchange is more important for NET right now
there are some big exchanges in China, how to vote NET on these exchanges? is still alive, but the exchange closed NET for almost one year, why? anybody know what't wrong with this site?

Hey: So net is now on BITTREX as well.
As for the other other exchanges...absolutely!  IF you guys want to create a request, that would be great!

BTER:  We're not sure why the halted the exchange.  They never gave a solid reason, and at that time we were focused elsewhere than try and keep bter relationships going.  They also didn't have a LOT of volume (which is why they might have pulled).

Netcoin is Still Alive my friend. We have lots of things in the works. While Cryptsy is a Black Eye for everyone, you can trade Net at Cryptoia, and keep an eye out on Bittrex and Polo in the Near future.

Keep an eye out for the next Wallet release to be public soon, and for some exciting new developments...

Hey hey,

Netcoin is still alive!  That said, if it feels like it isn't to you...we apologize.  How can we be of better use/communication for you?

We're working on some new code updates (And wallet updates) atm, and have some news regarding possible partnerships in the works.

Please keep an eye on:

Staking (PoS) / Re: When is the next POS halving?

Hey Wouter,

Year 1 (ends Dec 2015) Block # 945,600.

as of writing this, we have 68,748 blocks to ago.

Using an average block time of the past 500 blocks (~500 in 410 minutes) we're at 49s/block.

that (by my calculations) puts us at roughly 39 days away from the change.

Exchanges / Re: NETCOIN : Exchanges

We need more exchanges!
Since cryptiopia is a shit exchange en cryptsy isnt the best exchange either...
Something like BTC38/Poloniex/Bittrex maaaaybe btc-e? :D

Spread the word with folks and help us get on more exchanges :)
We're listed on BTER but they've stopped trades (a while back).

We've been submitting to polinex (we were on Bittrex but they require a LARGE volume of trades, so..again, more support :)

Nice website!

Still a bit glitchy for my tho, keeps moving up and down for some reason.
Also @ exchanges it looks like im buying Bitcoins/Litecoin instead of netcoins. Just put the exchanges with the link to BTC/NET... Noone buys netcoins with the other options, and else they will find them anyway (also we need more exchanges).
and maybe better graphics @ the coin behind the `E-Mail* sign up`.

And maybe bring up like a feed on what netcoin is doing the past months/years. So people are gonna visit the site back to look if anything new has been done on the coin? :D

Awesome!  thanks for the suggestions and improvements :)

Well for some reason my old account got deleted...?
Anyway, can you link the old website and forum to the new ones?
And i guess we need more advertising of netcoin...
Keep up the work and let us hear a bit more please

Thanks in advance

Good idea about linking.  We'll look into a way to try and preserve the old forums / content there...I'd love to try and integrate, but we had to get a more stable fix / forum in place.

As for the website forwarding..we'll see what we can do.  One of the reasons for moving to was to ensure a complete holacracy approach and access among the foundation/team to passwords and access.  We ran into some problems when older members of the community dropped off/had emergencies and we couldn't get access.   Hence the new site(s).

Thanks for your continued support!

We should have the brand new site up shortly!

It's sad but is seems like Net is officially dead. There is no activity anymore. And now this weird forum pops up next to the old official forums and the official netcoin site is not even working. Why on earth do something stupid like that?

Seems like the people that were in charge before (like Meee) bailed and left Netcoin.

It's sad but it's been fun.. RIP Netcoin.

Hi Truffle,

There is activity going on (and it's about to get louder) for NET.  We're in the midst of a transition phase with websites, forums, etc...which is always less smooth than we envision.

Here's what's happened:
- Big changes in the personelle for NET (new teams, new crews, etc)
- Loss of servers (the old servers went down and with that the old website...we are currently building out as this will become the new face of NET)
- We are also at the same time building out the new foundation page.
- We are finalizing some coin-code updates as well (netcoin to the latest bitcoin core, and a java-based coin code as well)
- We are in the exploration phase with some early seed investors into the use/developement of NET for various applications.

Hang in there...a lot is happening!
